Hadj Nemat's genealogy has been traced back to the 14th century. In those days, people often belonged to tribes and clans whose chieftains led their communities in every respect, from economic and social affairs to religious and political matters. The name Mokri borne by Hadj Nemat is derived from his father’s inclusion in the great Mokri clan of Kurdistan, while his mother, Bibi Khanoum, was born into the Dar Rostaman family of the Jalilvand clan.
